Her Issues

 Dear Mommy,

           I was glad that some cells were combined to form me. I was really excited to see you and dad. Some of the babies that had gone to heaven had told us stories about the Earth. They told us about their trips. Some of my friends in heaven died because of they are weak. They had disease and illnesses that caused them to die. Although they were sad to leave their parents, they told us that their short trip on Earth was fun. They had met doctors and nurses who took care of them and did their best to help them survive. They had also tasted their mommy’s milk. They said it’s delicious and had given them strength. They said that they felt loved, wanted and cared for when their mom and dad carried them. They told  me so much stories mommy. Their stories made me anxious waiting for my turn and then I was finally created! I was really excited because I can experience what my friends had experienced on Earth.

            But one day, you swallowed something that causes my place to contract. It was as if I am being squeezed. I know you didn’t mean to hurt me mom. That thing you swallowed is bad! I heard you were in pain. Knowing it gave me strength because I know we have a connection. So I fought back mommy. I did my best to fought back and I won. I was glad I won because I don’t want you to be hurt and I don’t want to go away.

           And then you went to the doctor and he had something injected to you. I guess you thought to have a medicine to relieve me the pain but it gave me the same feeling mommy. It was even worst! He was a bad doctor. He hurted us! But I fought back mommy. I wanted to see you so I fought hard.

                And then you went to some woman…she gave you a massage and squeeze your tummy. Maybe you thought it will give you relief for the pain but it gave me pain mommy. But even if I was still in pain, I still fought. I fought so hard mommy. I was actually scared because some liquid from my place came out to you. It was as if the fluid is forcing me to be out. But I am still young mommy. I know it’s not yet my time to go out.

           And then some doctors inserted something in you…it forced me out. I was in pain! I fought hard but I am still weak. They had taken my leg…It was painful and I cried. I was waiting for you to stop them. Then they had taken my arm and my head. Pieces of me where slowly taken away from your tummy.

            I guess you were so excited to see me mommy and you made them do it. I’m sorry mommy those people were bad in doing it. They had taken me part by part but they are bad because they didn’t tell you it’s not my time yet. I’m sorry mommy for being weak.

              I had waited a long time to have the chance to be with you and be born. I am really sad mommy. I love you mommy. I always tell God to comfort you and forgive you. I guess you were just excited. I hope you just waited mommy.

 This is a letter about an aborted child. I had a patient before who had an induced abortion. In this letter, I had placed my self in the person of the aborten baby girl. It is really sad because she did a lot of ways to successfully abort the fetus. She took pills and inserted it into her vagina. She had her tummy massaged. She had her vagina retracted after a medication was injected to her stomach. But the baby kept on fighting until they decided to manually take the baby from the womb.

*I don’t want to mention the medications and the procedures here.*

Abortion is a discrete sensitive heart breaking issue. It is even legal in some parts of the world. You can even see the ads of the abortion clinics in the yellow pages directory in America. It is like a solution to teen pregnancy or unwanted pregnancies. It is really hard because abortion doesn’t feel like you are killing a person. Some people say that it is just blood but no it is not just a blood!

However, abortion could be done to save the mother’s life or save the baby from suffering of future pain. It is done when an operation is needed to save the mother or simply because the pregnancy is dangerous for the mother. It also done when the baby is formed with a serious deformity or disease.

But I know you know when to say no to abortion.

Woman, please save your child. Being able to get pregnant is a gift and responsibility for us.
